Anti-vibration felt
The resiliency property of woolen
felt makes it ideal for vibration absorbtion. It can work as
Mounting pads, Shock absorbers, Vibration dampers, etc. It can
reduce vibration of more than 70 % if properly used. Machines and
floor can also be protected by using anti-vibration felt. Wool felt
for use vibration absorption as is highly durable and can last for
years. At lower or higher temperature other substitutes like rubber
may fail but wool felt will last. Depending upon the weight of
machine/instrument appropriate thickness can range from 6 mm to 30
mm. It also works as Quake Absorbers.
